Rift DK2 läuft im extended mode als 1. Bildschirm, aber nicht mehr im Direct to Rift

  1. Ich bekomme immer eine Fehlermeldung dass die Oculus Config nicht mehr richtig läuft, tut sie aber. Wenn ich wieder in den Extended scalte ist alles gut. Es kommt auch eine lange Fehlermeldung, die ich mit ok beenden muß. Was passiert:
    - schalte in den Direct Mode
    - schalte Rift ein, wied erkannt
    - starte Demo Scene
    - kommt folgende Fehlermeldung

    Ich habe daraufhin die SDK0,44 entfernt und komplett neu installiert, keine Änderung.

    Fehlermeldung dazu:

    Oculus Configuration Utility funktioniert nicht mehr

    Das Programm wird aufgrund eines Problems nicht richtig ausgeführt. Das Programm wird geschlossen und Sie werden benachrichtigt, wenn eine Lösung gefunden ist.

    Bis gestern ging alles noch, ich habe nichts am System geändert.
     
  2. Nichts geändert = auch keine Software installiert/deinstalliert und sei es nur ein Windows Update?

    Wenn nein, dann hat es dir wohl irgendwas in der Software zerschossen. Schon probiert die Treiber neu zu installieren?

    Ansonsten mal im offiziellen Oculus Developer Forum posten, irgendwo müsste es einen Bereich für so etwas geben, mit den ganzen Daten oben können die sicherlich mehr anfangen.
     
  3. Vielleicht ein automatisches nVidia-Update?
    Mal einen anderen USB-Port nehmen auch wenn es mit dem jetzigen immer ging.
    Externes Netzteil der Rift vielleicht rausgerutscht?
    Ansonsten OculusSoftware deinstall/install.

    ist aber auch nur rumgeraten. Den Teufel anbeten soll manchmal auch helfen :sneaky:
     
  4. Naja, da der Extended Modus funktioniert, dürfte die Hardware nicht das Problem sein. Aber man kann es sicher mal probieren. ;)
     
  5. Habe auch das Problem, das die Brille nur im Extend Modus läuft. Bei Direct HDM Access wird die Brille einfach nicht aktiviert, außer in der Demo Scene. Kann das vielleicht an Windows 7 liegen?
     
  6. Ich habe 8.1 und bei mir stürzt auch die Demo scene ab. Das tritt aber erst seit gestern auf, vorher lief alles.
     
  7. Habe soeben den Nvidia Treiber nochmals runtergeladen und neu installiert. Hat nichts gebracht.
     
  8. Lad mal einen alten Treiber nicht den neuesten , also nicht den 347.52 sondern nen 344er und schau was passiert. Und immer erweitert installieren und haken bei deinstallieren nicht vergessen das es eine saubere neue Installation ist. ohne Treiber Reste.
     
  9. Hat geklappt. Hab statt dem 347.52 wieder den Vorgänger 347.25 installiert - alles läuft. Vielen Dank JohnnyE
